Merino wool is a natural wool extracted from merino sheep, which is characterized by a very fine yarn of high quality. It is widely regarded as the best wool in the world, has a low water absorption rate, does not irritate the skin, and controls moisture wicking. In addition, it has natural stretch, high UV protection and enhanced fire resistance, and the eco-friendly fibers prevent bacterial growth and do not absorb odors. It works great as a thermal insulation material, preventing significant heat transfer and thus providing thermal comfort to the wearer on cold days.

The biggest advantage of tubular scarves, the so-called chimneys or shawls, is the freedom to choose how to wear them, as: a scarf, a cap, a balaclava, a hairband or foreheadband, or even a makeshift face mask.
