Bushnell Forge 8x42 Terrain Binoculars

Waterproof binoculars from the Bushnell Forge series with a fixed magnification of 8x and a lens diameter of 42mm.

Thanks to the Roof (roof) prisms, the binoculars have a compact body and will easily fit into a small bag. The lenses have anti-reflective coatings, which allow for a sharp and bright image even in bright sunlight.

The prisms used in the binoculars are made of BaK-4 optical glass . This model, thanks to advanced technologies , allows you to get a very high image resolution and contrast, as well as a wide field of view .

Technologies used:

- FMC (Fully Multi-Coated): all air-to-glass boundaries have been multi-coated with anti-reflective coatings to minimize unwanted reflections and loss of light passing through the optics.

- EXO Protection: an advanced protective coating that prevents the deposition of water droplets, dust and resists scratches making it easier to observe even in the rain. The technology also helps prevent condensation from our breath.

- PC-3 Phase Coating: advanced coatings on roof prisms that eliminate phase shift losses of reflected light waves, improving color fidelity, resolution and contrast.

- ED (Extra-low Dispersion): special glass with a low light-scattering coefficient. Lenses made of it provide images with above-average resolution and contrast, while practically eliminating chromatic aberration, visible in less advanced binoculars as characteristic purple or yellow color anomalies at the edges of observed objects.

- DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating): advanced coatings on roof prisms that provide maximum brightness and clarity, which improves color fidelity, resolution and contrast.

The binoculars meet the IPX7 waterproof standard (immersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter).
