Carinthia SOF 1 Medium Right Sleeping Bag - Olive

The lightweight design of the sleeping bag provides adequate thermal comfort at 7 degrees C for women (T-comfort) and 2 degrees C for men (T-limit). The anatomical shape of the mummy minimizes excess space for warmth, without restricting freedom of movement while sleeping.

The SOF 1 is equipped with G-Loft synthetic insulation, which is characterized by light weight and excellent thermal properties. The grammage of this insulating material is 85 g/m2.

The polyamide material used in this sleeping bag is characterized by its light weight and resistance to abrasion, water, snow and wind. Inside there is a small pocket closed with a velcro panel. 

A two-way zipper located on the right side allows unzipping from both the top and bottom. The sleeping bag can be combined with other models from the “Fast & Light” series.

The main parameters determining the thermal comfort of sleeping bags are:

• T-max - the maximum temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night without excessive sweating and waking due to heat,
• T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
• T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can comfortably sleep through the night.

Spring and fall expeditions: The sleeping bag is suitable for trekking in the warmer seasons when temperatures are around 5 degrees C.

Bivouacking and camping: Thanks to its compact dimensions when packed and its light weight, the sleeping bag is suitable for expeditions where limiting the volume and weight of luggage is important, such as on bicycle or kayak trips.
