Celox A Hemostatic Dressing

Tactical dressing in the form of granules designed for first aid and rapid stopping of life-threatening hemorrhages. It should be used when conventional methods of stopping bleeding (direct compression) prove ineffective or if access to the bleeding site is not possible.

The substance contained in the dressing causes hemostasis by closing the bleeding sites by forming a rapid clot on contact with the blood (after about 3 minutes from the time of application). It also works on blood in hypothermia, as well as on heparinized blood. Wear an external pressure dressing during transport.

It does not cause a heat reaction, has a bactericidal effect, so it protects the wound from infection and exothermic reaction. 

Training is required to use the dressing correctly and safely!
