"Niszczenie sił okrążonych" Book - Adrian Czesław Napora

The book is an attempt to concisely define the narrow tactical problem of destroying encircled forces. The theoretical achievements to date have mainly addressed the problem of exiting encirclement. Combat experience indicates that an equally important problem on the modern battlefield is the destruction of an enemy already encircled. The author refers to theoreticians of the art of war and to contemporary operational standardization documents of the North Atlantic Alliance. The analyses of historical events presented conclude with a concise theoretical summary, which is a proposal to be implemented in contemporary documents of operational standardization of the Polish Armed Forces.

The book is addressed both to commanders and staff officers, as well as to students of studies and in-service courses related to the conduct of tactical operations at all organizational levels of the Land Component. Those interested in the history of the art of war can also find interesting content in it. The study is enriched with illustrations and diagrams, which allows to better assimilate knowledge and develop tactical imagination.
