Edelrid OHM-II Belaying Device - Oasis

Belaying device designed for various forms of climbing, suitable for both beginners and advanced users. It works with single ropes of 8.9 to 11 mm diameter. 

Its action is to reduce the weight of the guide by friction of the rope to the extent that it is approximately equivalent to increasing the weight of the belayer by 25 kg in the event of a fall. This prevents unexpected jerks or even throwing the belayer toward the wall. In order to minimize the risk of incorrectly clipping the rope, pictograms are placed on the device. The maximum weight difference between the belayer and the guide should not exceed 10 kg. A snap hook with a strap and a swivel allow the device to be clipped to the anchor point, and automatically rotate for optimal operation.

The model meets the CE 0123 standard.
