A sleeping bag with an ergonomic mummy shape, providing thermal comfort up to 9 degrees C for women (T-comfort) and 5 degrees C for men (T-limit).
The Svalbard model is made of 10D nylon with a Rip-Stop fibre weave, which is characterised by high durability and abrasion resistance. The material has been treated with a WR (Water Repellent) water repellent layer, which provides protection against moisture penetration.
The filling consists of goose down and feathers in a ratio of 93/7, which ensures thermal comfort and is breathable, i.e. allows adequate air circulation. The 900 cuin down has a high level of compression, allowing the sleeping bag to be packed into a compact size.
An additional layer of insulation has been sewn in at the foot end, allowing warmth during sleep. The strip on the zipper has been filled with down, which provides thermal comfort and prevents the cold from getting in. The H-shaped chamber design eliminates the effect of down shifting and clumping.
The zip, located in the central part, is open all the way and has been lined with the Anti-Bite system, which prevents the zipper from jamming. The drawstring at the top helps to further secure the user on colder nights. Loops provide the option of fitting a liner so that the liner does not slip out when leaving the sleeping bag.
The footbox in the form of a bottom drawstring allows easy unzipping and air circulation. Duo double rubber bands allow the elastic drawstrings to be loosened freely without leaving the sleeping bag. Inside there is a useful pocket for valuable small items.
A compression pouch is included in the set, which makes it easy to carry the sleeping bag efficiently.
The most important indicators, which are used to describe the limits and temperature ranges of the sleeping bags, are generally marked with values:
- T-max - the maximum temperature at which a man of average build is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which an average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which an average man can sleep through the night.
