Helikon's compact and lightweight survival tin is a durable container for carrying small items.
The product will fit even in a small pocket, allowing you to move around with complete freedom. The can will hold, for example: an emergency whistle, a compass, a lighter, a short pencil, water purification tablets or a small pocketknife or knife.
The can can also be used to create your own kindling.
Hubka (a.k.a. kindling) is charred cotton, which is created from scraps of cotton that are subjected to high heat with very little oxygen so that they become charred.
We can produce it by making a small hole in the lid of the can and inserting pieces of cloth into it. Then place it over a fire source. White smoke coming out of the can indicates that the cotton is charred. When you see that the smoke has stopped, you should remove the can and wait for it to cool down before opening it, as opening the lid too quickly can ignite the material. The end result is black (charred) scraps of material that can be used to start a fire.
