Katadyn Befree Water Filter 1 l

A lightweight, compact filtration system consisting of a flexible, retractable bottle and a filter with a mouthpiece with a capacity of up to 2l/min, depending on the degree of water contamination. It provides an optimal solution for a wide range of users, from hikers and vacationers to athletes.

The filter material(Hollow Fiber) prevents all kinds of microorganisms above 0.1 microns from entering the water. The filter is able to stop 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa (e.g. salmonella, cholera, E.Coli and protozoa Cryptosporidium, Giardia).

Theretractable design makes it easy to transport the empty bottle, taking up little space. The system features easy handling with a 42mm wide filler and a Free Flow Channels filter that rinses easily under running water or in the bottle. The system is made of BPA-free plastic.
