Uniform insignia of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the rank of Junior Lieutenant (Junior Leitenant). Made of durable Cordura with Laser Cut technology, which prevents fraying of the material. Sturdy Velcro allows quick attachment of the patch to the uniform.
MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok, or camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when this camouflage was officially adopted. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but the shades were adjusted to match the natural colors of the Ukrainian landscape. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage was a significant step in the reform of the Ukrainian army, aimed at moving away from the post-Soviet aesthetic. Unofficially, MM-14 is also referred to as Ukrainian Pixel Camo or Ukrainian Digital Camo.
