The pouch is designed to carry the Motorola 4400/4800 radio and other models of similar size. It was made of lightweight and resistant to mechanical damage 1000D Cordura.
The design of the case allows access to all buttons and knobs necessary to operate the device. A shock-cord loop located at the top with an attached fastex clasp protects the radio from falling out.
The pouch is compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, so it can be attached to a belt or any piece of equipment equipped with mounting straps.
Secured with a metal circle, the drainage hole ensures that water does not collect in the hold when it rains.
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when the camouflage was officially approved. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the colors naturally found on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important part of the Ukrainian army's reform to break with post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
