MFH Fox Outdoor Precision Compass

A compact, folding prismatic compass enclosed in a sturdy metal case. It makes a professional navigation device for trappers, trekkers, surveyors, scouts and sailors.

The compass allows you to quickly and accurately read the world directions, determine azimuths, and calculate distances and sizes of objects. The function of the bearing compass is made possible by the applied side scales (metric and inch measure), a sight with lens, a front sight, a rear sight, and a map compass. In addition, the compass is equipped with a level, which is responsible for the horizontal alignment of the compass, a hanging bracket and a thread for mounting the device on a tripod or theodolite.

The rotating dial of the device is filled with an alcohol-infused liquid, which prevents the liquid from freezing, dampens vibrations, and allows for trouble-free reading of data from the device while running or walking. A sapphire bearing is responsible for the precise rotation of the Power Magnet needle. Tables of angles and gradients have been plotted on the bottom of the compass to help the user with calculations.

Additionally, the compass is equipped with an internal mirror, whichóre significantly facilitates the reading of values from the dial. 

Included with the device is a dedicated nylon pouch with belt loop.
