Petzl Ride 45 cm Ice Ax

The45 cm long cheque is made of high quality hardened steel and anodized 7075 aluminum. Optimal for both beginners and more advanced alpine hikers. It will be suitable for alpine tourism or winter mountaineering, thanks to meeting the requirements of EN 13089 : 2011 + A1 : 2015, UIAA 152 :2012 certifications , except for point. 2.2.

The cheque has been equipped with a serrated blade and a paddle, making it easy to drive and cut steps in ice or compacted snow. To minimize weight, it uses an aluminum handle and a head with an openwork design, which can also act as a carabiner hole for convenient carrying.

The profiled shape of the stylus and its appropriate bend allow a secure grip, free use and stability at different angles of inclination. The cheque can also be used for support when climbing moderately steep slopes .
