Appropriate profiling of the device ensures smooth sliding of the rope and minimizes the twisting of the rope and the possibility of its falling out. The use of braking grooves makes it possible to control the speed of sliding, and the unlocking hole allows the release of slack under load.

Made of durable aluminum, the device features a simple design, which further facilitates its easy operation. The rounded design of the rope passage reduces wear on the device, and is suitable for ropes with a diameter of 7.7mm to 11mm.

The construction of the device allows belaying from the lower and upper position. The specific design of the device facilitates the sliding of the rope, while protecting it from wear.
