Climbing Technology Alpine Up Belay Device with carabiner - Green

The belay device is designed for various forms of climbing, suitable for both beginners and advanced users. It works with single ropes with diameters from 8.6 to 10.5 mm and double ropes with diameters from 7.3 to 9 mm. Thanks to its special design, it allows belaying from the top position.

The model operates in two modes:
- in Click Up mode, the device locks automatically when the climber falls off, ensuring a high level of safety,
- in dynamic mode it allows to catch the potential flight of the leader. Belaying in this mode will work well during standard climbing with your own belay.

In order to minimize the risk of incorrectly clipping the rope, pictograms are placed on the device. In case of incorrect clipping, the design of the device generates friction, allowing belaying on the principle of a standard belaying cup.

It comes with a heavy-duty HMS Concept SGL HC carabiner made of lightweight aluminum alloy with an andon-plated coating. It is equipped with an ACL system to prevent unwanted rotation. The double-T design provides a great weight-to-strength ratio.

The gauge should only be used with the included HMS Concept SGL HC carabiner.

The model complies with EN 15151-2:2012 Type 2 and UIAA standards.
