- Worth buying
The Santoku type knife is an Asian version of the European Chef's knife - it features a shorter and wider blade. This allows efficient translation of cut vegetables or meat, for example, into a frying pan or wok.
The Drop-Point profile head is made of AUS-8 stainless steel hardened to 58-59 HRC and finished with a stonewash technique. One of the characteristics of this steel is its high chromium content, which provides high anti-corrosion properties. This makes the knife ideal for kitchen work.
The handle was made of polypropylene and given a texture that resembles that of a golf ball, so it provides a secure grip, even when the hand is wet or dirty. The whole is finished with a hole that allows the knife to be hung on a kitchen hanger.
