Secura 2000 K / E-3 Evacuation Hood - Set

Secura 2000 K/E-3 evacuation hood for one-time, short-term use for quick evacuation from a zone contaminated with harmful and highly toxic substances, including during a fire.

The hood is equipped with ABEK class 1 absorbers protecting against organic and inorganic gases, vapors and gases of organic substances, vapors and acid gases, ammonia and its organic derivatives, as well as mixtures of the above-mentioned substances.

The hood is made of fabric laminated with non-flammable butyl latex. It is characterized by very high chemical resistance. It is equipped with a 0.6 mm thick panoramic polycarbonate visor that does not restrict vision. Inside there is an additional latex collar that, when the hood is pulled over the head, seals around the neck, reducing the concentration of toxic gases and aerosols in the facial area.

The hood is permanently fused to the Secura 2000 silicone half-mask, equipped with two ABEK class 1 multi-gas filters.

The set includes:
- K/E-3 hood,
- Secura 2000 half-mask,
- 2 ABEK1 gas canisters,
- barrier bag,
- portable bag.

On the barrier bag there are graphic instructions on how to deal with the need for the hood, as well as storage conditions and expiration date.

The hood complies with the requirements of the European standard EN-14387:2004 except for pt. 6.7, EN 403:2007 in terms of para. 6.12.
