Sky-Watcher BKP 2001 EQ5 Telescope

Telescope with a parabolic mirror with a diameter of 200 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm. With a 2" diameter Crayford focuser with a reduction to 1.25". With T-2 thread and additional reductions, it is possible to mount an SLR type camera.

A Barlow lens combined with a 1.25" diameter eyepiece allows the magnification to be doubled. This Newtonian system telescope, due to its high brightness, will prove useful for nebular observations. The telescope collects about 575 times more light than the human eye and allows observing objects up to more than 13 stellar magnitudes.

The EQ5 parallactic mount is characterized by good stability and precision. The head of the mount sits on a stainless steel tripod, which is equipped with a practical table for accessories. It comes with a leveling indicator, a latitude adjustment with a micrometer scale, and an azimuthal polar star telescope adjustment. The EQ5 also features micromotion knobs and engraved aluminum setting rings. The mount can be converted to a full GoTo system.
