With the Commander series, Steiner successfully maintains the legend and worldwide recognition regarding its marine binoculars. They are the first choice among boaters around the world - among professionals and amateurs alike. The large field of view (145m) allows you to observe a wide section of the horizon.
Steiner Commander 7x50 binoculars provide seven times magnification with a 50mm objective lens. The binoculars are suitable for use in difficult lighting conditions and at night. It is also worth noting that the binoculars are built with a Porro-type prism system, so they provide a more stereoscopic, three-dimensional image than its compact roof-type counterpart.
Thanks to patented two-phase valve technology and nitrogen filling at 14 psi, fogging or condensation inside the binoculars is completely eliminated. Even temperature differences, between -40 degrees C and +80 degrees C, have no negative impact on the functionality of Steiner Commander binoculars.
The Makrolon material used in the construction makes the binoculars extremely shockproof and much more resistant to harsh weather conditions at sea. Makrolon is also resistant to corrosion.
