TickLess Eco Ultrasonic Tick Repeller - for humans

TickLess Eco - ultrasonic tick repeller is a small, handy device that emits 40 kHz ultrasound, inaudible to humans and pets, to effectively repel ticks. Ultrasonic sound interferes with the host's orientation and tracking ability by blocking ticks' sensory receptors. This causes them to be unable to distinguish potential prey from their surroundings.

The repeller is perfect for trips to the woods, spending time at the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft expeditions and all other activities in nature when you are exposed to tick bites.

Ticks use the Haller organ located on the foot of the first leg to identify potential prey. The ultrasound emitted from the device effectively blocks ticks from receiving stimuli from this sensory organ. The range of the device is about 2 meters, which provides effective protection. The TickLess device should be worn on a top layer of clothing to ensure that the ultrasonic waves propagate freely. It can be conveniently clipped to a backpack, belt or other item of clothing. 

Ticks carry dangerous human diseases such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. By using  TickLess,the risk of being bitten, and thus infected and seriously ill, is minimized. 

TickLess Eco is completely harmless to the environment and does not emit any chemicals. It is made of biodegradable plastic. When the device stops working, open it and separate the housing from the other parts. The housing can be disposed of in a compost heap or buried in the ground - it was made from materials that decompose within a few months. In addition, it is resistant to moisture according to the IP13 standard, but direct contact with water should be avoided.

To turn on the device, pull the pin (then it is activated), then press the button. Four green LED flashes indicate that TickLess has been turned on and is working. During operation, the device flashes a single green LED every 5 minutes. The device turns off automatically after 8 hours, and can also be turned off by pressing the button, as indicated by one long red LED blink. The operating time is about 3000 hours.

TickLess is completely harmless to pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers and the elderly, making it an excellent alternative to chemical repellents, which can cause allergic reactions in some cases.
