TickLess Pet Mini ultrasonic tick repeller - for animals - Black

TickLess - ultrasonic tick protection is a small, handy device that emits 40 kHz ultrasonic sounds that are inaudible to humans and pets. They interfere with the host's orientation and tracking ability by blocking the sensory receptors of ticks. This causes the tick to be unable to distinguish potential prey from its surroundings. 

The device is perfect for trips to the woods, spending time in the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft expeditions and all other activities in nature when you are exposed to tick bites.  

Ticks use the Haller organ located on the foot of the first leg to identify potential prey. The ultrasound emitted from the device effectively blocks ticks from receiving stimuli from this sensory organ. The range is about 2.5 meters, providing effective protection. The TickLess Pet Mini device should be clipped to the pet's collar to ensure free propagation of the ultrasonic waves.

Ticks carry diseases that are dangerous to humans, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Using the TickLess ultrasonic tick protection minimizes the risk of being bitten and thus becoming infected and seriously ill.  

The device is completely harmless to the environment, emits no chemicals and is convenient to use. Before using it for the first time, charge the rechargeable battery (Li-Ion, micro USB) and then hold the button longer. Four flashes of the LED indicate that TickLess has been turned on and is working. Red indicates that the battery charge level is below 30%. The device can be turned off with three quick presses of the button, indicated by a double blink of the LED. Operating time is 7-14 days on a fully charged battery.

The device features a night location function (fast flashing LED) turned on/off by holding the button down for a long time.

TickLess is harmless to pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers, the elderly and pets, making it an excellent alternative to chemical repellents, which can cause allergic reactions in some cases.

It is made of durable plastic and is IP13 moisture resistant, but direct contact with water should be avoided.
