Wiley X Omega Captivate Tactical Glasses Polarized Grey - Matte Black

Ballistic goggles of low profile type with mechanical strength of glazing to protect eyes from shrapnel, ricochets and other incoming objects according to class F (an object weighing 0.86 g moving at 45 m/s). The set includes a rigid zippered case, an elastic strap and a soft case.

The Omega Captivate model provides protection for the eyes, both from mechanical injury and harmful effects of intense light. The frames as well as the lenses of the glasses are made with HVP™ (High Velocity Protection) technology. As a result, they protect our eyes from injuries that can be caused by objects moving at high speeds.

The lenses are made of durable polymer that meets the ANSI ballistic protection standard, EN166 F. Polarized lenses made with Captivate technology provide eye protection against harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays. In addition, they equalize the visible light spectrum so that light reaches the eye more evenly. They maintain neutral colors while enhancing greens. They reduce glare and enhance contrast and color in outdoor environments.

The contoured Full Frame frame and sporty shape make the glasses very adaptable to the shape of the wearer's face, while not compromising comfort during all-day wear. In addition, the nose pad and temples are finished with a non-slip material that reduces slipping of the glasses during movement.

The lenses feature Oleophobic coating, which prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking, making the lenses much easier to clean than standard lenses without a coating.

Ballistic standards:
- Ballistic: according to this standard, the frame and visors can withstand the impact of bullets/debris with a diameter of 3.8 mm, traveling at 700-720 km/h .
- ANSI HVP standard: according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6.35 mm, moving at 164.6 km/h.
- EN.166F standard - meets the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated particles(Medium Energy Impact). According to the standard, the frame and visors can withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.
