Wiley X Omega Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Bronze Mirror/Matte Black

Comfortable, lightweight and well-fitting tactical glasses. The mechanical strength of the glasses helps protect the eyes from shrapnel, ricochets and other incoming objects. They meet the requirements of Class F (protect against objects weighing 0.86 g moving at 45 m/s).

Made of Triloid nylon, the contoured frames, as well as the unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate lenses, meet ANSI Z87.1+ and EN166 F ballistic protection standards, protecting the eyes from harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays, as well as blue light (HEV). The shape of the frames ensures a good fit and does not restrict comfort when using headphones or ear protectors. In addition, they are equipped with durable spring hinges that provide more flexibility in the temples and greater comfort.

Glasses with light transmission of 15% have been used, and a CAPTIVATE polarizing filter placed between the lens layers on sunny days focuses light in one plane, filters out the glare of the sun's rays, boosts brightness and improves depth perception. On cloudy and/or rainy days, it imparts better contrast to objects, which dramatically improves the quality of vision, providing perfect clarity and complete visual comfort. Such glasses are recommended for drivers, skiers, fishermen and hikers.

Anti-reflective coating eliminates scattering reflections of light, so the rays do not reflect back to the eyes and distort the image and irritate the eyes. As a result, the view is clearer than with standard Captivate glasses.

The glasses use T-Shell Scratch coating, which prevents scratches on the glasses. The oleophobic coating prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking to the lens.

Ballistic standards:
- ANSI Z87.1+ standard, according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 164.6 km/h,
- EN.166F standard - meets the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated particles (Medium Energy Impact). According to the standard, the frame and visors can withstand the impact of a steel BBs with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.
