Backpack Wisport Zipper Fox 40 l - MAPA

A 40-liter backpack made of durable Cordura, the design of which is a modified version of the popular Silver Fox model. Equipped with certified ITW Nexus and Duraflexbuckles, ensuring durability and reliability in even the most demanding conditions.

The backpack is closed with a four zipper closure, which allows access to the contents from both the top and the side of the backpack, and allows the backpack to be completely unfolded. TheWisport Zipper Foxmodel features a roomy main compartment with 7 internal pockets and compartments. Inside the backpack there is also a panel with webbing in the MOLLE system, allowing you to attach additional pockets or organizers. The external pocket on the back is designed for a hydration system reservoir, in which there is a hole for leading the hose. A handle for attaching it is located on each brace.

On the front and on the sides of the backpack there are straps compatible with theMOLLE/PALSsystem , which allow you to conveniently carry additional equipment. Side compression straps allow you to tighten the backpack to keep the load close to your back, increasing control and stability.An additional advantage is the front velcro (Velcro) panel, which allows attaching any patch or emblem, such as a national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches .

On the straps attached to the side of the backpack , it is possible to attach Sparrow side pockets.

Thebackpack uses theSAS Militarycarrying system , which provides excellent stability even with unevenly distributed weight in the backpack. By properly adjusting the straps of the carrying straps, it can be accurately adjusted to the user's figure. The stiffening is provided by a removable fiberglass slat, directly adjacent to the back.

The backpack is equipped with an integratedrain cover to protect against unfriendly weather conditions.

The camouflage pattern MAPA was designed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, author of, among other publications, Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). The innovative design, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, attracted the attention of specialists and military clothing manufacturers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage made its debut at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a camouflage pattern for the Dromader system of armor and uniforms from Maskpol, which is part of the Polish Armament Group. The system was created for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Army, but the MAPA camouflage itself was also considered as a perspective pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the wz.93 camouflage. Unfortunately, the MAPA camouflage has not been implemented as an official camouflage pattern of the Polish Army to date.

The most important features of the MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant:

- 6 colors that create layers resembling levels on a map
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe
- use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows
- deformation of the masked silhouette by means of a macro pattern
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern

The MAPA pattern is an interesting alternative to the best contemporary camouflage patterns such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn or Finnish M/05. In some respects, it is more advanced than them, and better reproduces the colors found in Central European forests in the period from later spring to early autumn.
