Distinction on the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the rank of Senior Lieutenant. Made of durable Cordura with Laser Cut technology , which prevents fraying of the edges. The robust Velcro allows the patch to be quickly attached to the uniform.
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern). The camouflage was officially approved 2014. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the colours naturally occurring on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important part of the Ukrainian army's reform to break with post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, the MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
