The Old Hickory series was launched in 1924 and currently still features a classic look and solid workmanship. The Cleaver model is a kitchen knife with a blade that will be perfect for cutting meat, herbs and vegetables. Thanks to the rectangular blade, you can quickly transfer the sliced ingredients to a salad bowl or frying pan.
The rectangular head is made of 1075 carbon steel hardened to 53 - 58 HRC, which is characterized by easy sharpening and long sharpness retention. The knife is of full-tang construction, i.e. with the blade shank passing through the entire handle. The sturdy handle consists of walnut wood facings, and the whole is reinforced with brass rivets.
