Petzl Glacier Literide 50 cm Ice Ax

The50 cm long cheque is made of high-quality hardened steel and anodized 7075 aluminum. Optimal for both beginners and more advanced alpine hikers. It will be suitable for alpine tourism or winter mountaineering, thanks to meeting the requirements of the EN 13089/2011 +A2 :2021, UIAA 152 :2018 certificates , except for point. 2.2.

The cheque has been equipped with a serrated blade and a paddle, making it easy to drive and cut steps in ice or compacted snow. To minimize weight, it uses an aluminum handle and a head with an openwork design, which can also act as a carabiner hole for convenient carrying.

The straight stylet allows a secure grip, free use and stabilization at different angles of inclination. The cheque can also be used for support when climbing less steep slopes .
