Pulsar Axion XM30F thermal imager

A compact thermal imaging monocular from Pulsar that facilitates both day and night observation. The Axion XM30F model features a fixed optical magnification of 3x. For greater observation precision, the model is also equipped with a 4x digital zoom, providing magnification from 3x to 12x and allowing for the detection of objects even up to 1300 metres away. The thermal imager is also equipped with a stadiametric rangefinder, which is based on the approximate height of the object being observed and allows for quick distance measurement.

The Axion XM30F thermal imager is equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels, with a pixel spacing of 12 µm. The sensor's sensitivity allows it to capture temperature differences of less than 50 mK. The display used is made with AMOLED technology with a resolution of 640 × 400 pixels. The high-contrast display provides better color reproduction, power saving, fast response and smooth images during observation even in freezing conditions.

The thermal imaging monocular has eight image display modes for easy recognition and identification of observed objects:
- White Hot - for object detection,
- Black Hot - for object detection,
- Red Hot - for object detection,
- RedMonochrome - for long observation at night,
- Rainbow - for reconnaissance and identification,
- Ultramarine - for recognition and identification,
- Violet - for long night observations,
- Sepia - for long night observations.

The model also uses a function to save photos or videos to the built-in 16 GB internal memory. Files can also be transferred directly to a phone or tablet using Wi-Fi, on which the StreamVision 2 app has been installed. The integrated Wi-Fi module makes it possible to use, for example, a phone with the StreamVision 2 app as an external display or to control the device remotely. The Axion XM30F, for improved user comfort, is equipped with diopter adjustment in the range of from -5 to +5.

The body of the thermal imager is made of magnesium alloy, which is resistant to mechanical damage and shock. Thanks to its compact design and the use of seals, the thermal imager's housing meets the IPX7 waterproof class, which provides protection from water at a depth of up to 1m for 30 minutes. The operating temperature range in which the thermal imager can be used is from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius.

The thermal imager is powered by a replaceable APS3 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh, which makes the thermal imager capable of operating for up to 5 hours. A built-in micro USB port also ensures that the device can be used with a plugged-in powerbank to extend the operating time. The Display OFF power saving mode allows the display to go blank without turning off the thermal imager.
