Thermal imagers are devices that show thermal radiation. You may encounter other names for this tool such as thermal camera or infrared camera, but they all mean thermal imager. Such a device uses the process of thermal imaging to record the thermal radiation emitted by physical bodies. Thermal imager images in the infrared band with a wavelength of 3 to 14 micrometers. The image obtained through the use of thermal imaging allows you to see heat sources regardless of the conditions during observation, it can be completely dark or foggy. Depending on the model in the thermal imager, the image is shown as shades of black and white or with the use of colors reflecting temperatures according to a scale set in the device.

The ability to visualize in real time the temperature and its distribution on individual physical bodies allows for many special applications of such technology. Thermal imaging can be used in industry to control technological processes, as well as to look for anomalies in the behavior of machinery to find the site of a malfunction that may be occurring. The thermal imaging camera will also find use in the power industry oby check the condition of high-voltage lines or inspect turbines at generators in a power plant. This device will also find its place in the construction industry, as it slowly checks the tightness of buildings o raz their insulation systems. A frequent application of the thermal imager is its use in combat conditions with limited visibility by the military or by firefighters and rescue services in poor visibility. Such use will make it possible to locate the enemy or an injured person. Such devices are also used by hunters to locate game.
