TYT Radio TH-UV98 PMR 2200 mAh

The TH-UV98 is a handheld dual-band radio with a maximum power 10 W equipped with a USB-C charging port. It features a DMTF keypad, dual white-backlit LCD display, built-in flashlight and FM radio. The radio features a lithium-ion battery with a capacity 2200 mAh with a USB-C port and a charge level indicator. The TH-UV98 radio is equipped with CTCSS and DCS and a simple scrambler. The radio's characteristic feature is Dual Watch, which means listening to two channels. This allows you to monitor two different frequencies - priority is given to the frequency on which the incoming call appears.

The radio is equipped with a PTT - push-to-talk button. The radio features Kenwood type connector, which allows you to connect headphones with microphone, dedicated micro speakers or shooting hearing protectors. The device uses an antenna connector in the SMA-M standard. The radio can be programmed from the keypad or a computer via a dedicated USB cable (not included). The TH-UV98 is compatible with the cable from the Baofeng UV-5R and Baofeng UV-82 radios. In addition, the software comes with a number of features for easy grouping and identification. The VOX function allows you to start transmitting on the radio with your voice, without having to press the PTT button.

The built-in FM radio allows you to listen to your favorite station while working or playing ASG during breaks from conversation. Despite the FM radio in operation, the TH-UV98 will still listen to channels and interrupt the FM function when there is an incoming call.
