A handy thermal imaging monocular with laser rangefinder from Pulsar to facilitate both day and night observation. The Axion 2 XG35 LRF model features a fixed optical magnification 2.5x. For greater observation accuracy, the model also allows digital zoom in the range 2-8x, making it possible to see objects up to 1750 meters away. The thermal imager is also equipped with a laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1000 meters, which provides the ability to quickly measure the distance to the observed target with an accuracy of +/- 1 m.
The Axion 2 XG35 LRF thermal imager features a sensor with a resolution 640 × 480 pixels, with a pixel spacing of 12 µm. The sensor's sensitivity allows it to capture temperature differences of less than 40 mK. The display used is made with AMOLED technology and features a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. The high-contrast display provides better color reproduction, energy savings, fast response and smooth images during observation even in freezing conditions.
The thermal imaging monocular has eight image display modes making it easier to recognize and identify objects under observation:
- White Hot - for object detection,
.
- Black Hot - for object detection,
.
- Red Hot - for object detection,
.
- RedMonochrome - for long observation at night,
.
- Rainbow - for reconnaissance and identification,
.
- Ultramarine - for recognition and identification,
.
- Violet - for long night observations,

- Sepia - for long night observations.

The model also features the function of saving photos or videos to the built-in internal memory 16 GB. Files can also be transferred directly to a phone or tablet using Wi-Fi, on which the StreamVision 2 app has been installed. The integrated Wi-Fi module makes it possible to use, for example, a phone with the StreamVision 2 app as external display or to remotely control the device. The Axion 2 XG35 LRF model, for improved comfort, is equipped with diopter adjustment in the range from -5 to +5.
The body of the thermal imager is made of damage- and shock-resistant magnesium alloy. Thanks to its compact design and the use of seals, the thermal imager's housing meets the waterproof class IPX7, which provides protection from water at a depth of up to 1m for 30 minutes. The operating temperature range in which the thermal imager can be used is from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius.
The thermal imager is powered by a replaceable lithium-ion battery APS5 with a capacity of 4900 mAh, which makes the thermal imager capable of operating up to 7 hours. A built-in USB Type-C port also ensures that the device can be used with a plugged-in powerbank to extend the operating time. A power saving mode Display OFF allows you to blank out the display without turning off the thermal imager.
