A handy thermal imaging monocular from Pulsar for easy observation both during the day and at night. The Axion 2 XG35 features a fixed optical magnification of 2.5x. For greater observation accuracy, the model also provides digital zoom in the range of 2-8x, which allows you to see objects up to 1,800 meters away. The thermal imager is equipped with a stadiametric rangefinder, which is based on the approximate height of the observed object and allows quick distance measurement.
The Axion 2 XG35 thermal imager is equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, with a pixel spacing of 12 µm. The sensitivity of the sensor allows it to capture temperature differences of less than 40 mK. The display used is made with AMOLED technology and features a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. The high-contrast display provides better color reproduction, energy savings, fast response and smooth images during observation even in freezing conditions.
The thermal imaging monocular has eight image display modes for easy recognition and identification of objects under observation:
- White Hot - for object detection,
- Black Hot - for object detection,
- Red Hot - for object detection,
- RedMonochrome - for long night observations,
- Rainbow - for recognition and identification,
- Ultramarine - for recognition and identification,
- Violet - for long night observations,
- Sepia - for long night observations.
The model also uses a function to save photos or videos to the built-in 16GB internal memory. The files can also be transferred directly to a phone or tablet using Wi-Fi, on which the StreamVision 2 app has been installed. The integrated Wi-Fi module makes it possible to use, for example, a phone with the StreamVision 2 app as an external display or to remotely control the device. The Axion 2 XG35 is equipped with a diopter adjustment from -5 to +5 for improved user comfort.
The body of the thermal imager is made of magnesium alloy, which is resistant to mechanical damage and shock. Thanks to its compact design and the use of seals, the thermal imager's housing meets the IPX7 waterproof class, which provides protection from water at a depth of up to 1 m for 30 minutes. The operating temperature range in which the thermal imager can be used is from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius.
The thermal imager is powered by a replaceable APS5 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4900 mAh, which allows up to 7 hours of operation. The built-in USB Type C port also ensures that the device can be used with a plugged-in powerbank to extend the operating time. Display OFF power-saving mode allows the display to go blank without turning off the thermal imager.
The kit includes:
- thermal imager,
- USB charger 230 V,
- wrist strap,
- lens cover,
- carrying case,
- 1 x APS5 4900 mAh battery,
- USB cable with USB-C adapter,
- cloth,
- 2 x APS5 battery adapter,
- user manual in Polish.
