Bobotie is a South African meat dish that consists mainly of rice, beef, and sweet additions such as sultanas and apples. Adventure Food's products retain full flavour and visual qualities to match a traditionally cooked meal.

The dish has undergone a freeze-drying process, so it has a long shelf life and is lightweight, so it won't add extra weight to your luggage.  

Ingredients: rice (38%), sunflower oil, sultanas (9%), apples (8%), beef (7%), onion, egg powder, green beans (3%), glucose syrup, salt, potato starch, modified starch (modified corn starch), turmeric, garlic, cinnamon (0.17%), cumin, natural flavouring, dill seeds, coriander, chilli, ginger powder, nutmeg, paprika, fenugreek, capsicum, pepper, parsley, caraway, preservative (E220)

Method of preparation: Open the bag at the top and unfold the bottom part, removing the oxygen absorber. Pour hot water up to the designated level. Stir the contents thoroughly. Close the bag with the zipper and set aside for 8 minutes. Stir again. Consume directly from the bag.
