BREAK POINT is the moment you decide that nothing will come between you and your goal. The moment you step out of your comfort zone to move forward.
Special forces soldiers are not superhumans. They don't hit their target with every shot. Bullets don't bounce off them. They have the same weaknesses and doubts as any of us. But ordinary people can also do extraordinary things, under the greatest pressure, in the most difficult situations.
In Ollie Ollerton's life, everything has been extreme, and he has taken no shortcuts. He is a former Special Forces soldier. At the age of 18, he joined the Royal Marine Commandos. He took part in missions in Northern Ireland and Iraq as part of Operation Desert Storm. After completing a grueling six-month SAS selection process, Ollie joined the Special Boat Service (SBS), where he served for six years. His life is proof that anyone can do something amazing, because it's only when the time of crisis comes, when you're at your breaking point - that you find out who you really are.
And what is your BREAK POINT?
What needs to happen for you to bounce back from the bottom?
And what is your BREAK POINT?
Remember that a second is only as long or as short as the person experiencing it feels.
Matthew "Ollie" Ollerton is a former Special Forces soldier. At the age of 18, he joined the Royal Marine Commandos. His missions included counter-narcotics, terrorism, internal security and humanitarian operations, among others.
After leaving the Special Boat Service, Ollie worked in Iraq as a private security mercenary before heading to Southeast Asia, where he used his military experience to help those less fortunate: he worked for a charity to help counter child trafficking. He co-hosted the TV show SAS: The Brave Win, in which contestants face a series of physical and mental challenges based on selection for the Special Forces.
